摘要：介绍了直线电机的发展历程及现状，探讨了直线电机在制造业、交通运输业、航空航天业及海洋发电中的应用，研究分析了直线电机的发展趋势，提出了直线电机应在基础理论及设计研究、开发新技术和新材料、大推力及高速度等性能研究、创新结构设计并向功能部件发展、研究控制精度并提高动态性能及开发相应的性能测试系统等方面加强研究。

Abstract: Status and development of linear motor were discussed. Application of linear motor in manufacturing industry, communication&transportation industry, aeronautics&astronautics industry and ocean power generation was reported. Development trend of linear motor was studied. Study on basis theory and design, new technology&new material, high speed & high trust, consturction design, control precison & dynamic performance and performance testing system was advised.
